Much like Sonel, Larison was put out on the street when his father left and his stepmother put him out. Many times Larry and Diana would see Larison walking back and forth from the river, carrying heavy buckets of water on his head. Larry would often give him money or buy him a piece of bread. One day, some of the other street boys found Larison crying by the side of a dirt trail because his father and stepmother had put him out on the streets. The older street boys brought him to Waves of Mercy, where they started calling him Larison (“Larry’s Son”).
